Cancelled due to low interest. Sorry
Plans are still going ahead for this weekends events, I'm not going to mention the forecast in case I Jinx it, but right now there seems to be lots of everything coming our way. So if your coming bring everything from small wave boards for wave sailing to GPS's for speed sailing when the tide goes out along the beach drop off (see picture attached...care of google maps).
To make the trip worth it I have a box of prizes behind my desk ranging from an ONeill wetsuit, Tiki heated kidney belts and vests, rucksacks, changing robes, Hoodies, harness lines and other bits and pieces. This comp is weather and numbers dependent so make sure to keep contacting Seán and I will put the word out on Thursday if we're still going ahead.

The October Bank holiday weekend saw over 40 windsurfers gather in the quaint village of Kinvara on the edge of the Burren for the last and final round of the 2012 Irish Slalom Series hosted by Rusheen Bay Windsurfing. Those who travelled on the Friday were rewarded with a warm reception, an open fire and live Jazz in Connellys pub. Saturday dawned without a breath of wind nor a cloud in the sky, regardless the crew got set up on Tracht Beach and started the day with the more experienced sailors passing on their knowledge with a series of rigging demos, Q&A's and Intro to slalom clinic.
