Sandy Bay Category: ISS Event Sites

Sandy Bay is on the right opposite the caravan parks on the road out of Castlegregory toward the Marhaeese, just past the small bridge. There is grass to rig on and the beach is smooth stones at high tide and a sandy bottom. At low tide there are some large rocks that appear on the left. The best wind direction is southwest as it gets funnelled by the mountains and is quite a lot stronger once past the boats.
