Tracht Beach Category: ISS Event Sites

Tracht beach less than 10mins from Kinvara is a wide sandy beach facing northwest. Travel 4km south out of Kinvara towards Ballyvaughan and take the right turn sign posted for Tracht Beach, 2km further on there is a left turn (signposted). There is a car park and public toilets. Will work on all wind directions and tides, however there is quite a stretch at low tide and is shallow for a good distance – good for learning.
