We would firstly like to say a big thank you to our fellow competitor and web designer Hannes Louet-Feisser of http://www.hsolutions.ie/ for all the hard work on making our website www.irishslalom.ie a massive success. I think everyone will agree that is a great addition to the slalom series and we would be lost without it.

We are very pleased to announce that we now have our online registration and payment system up and running. I ask that you all use this feature for the upcoming event at Newtownards. Online registration will close on Thursday March 25th at 6pm. The registration option will be disabled at this time.

At the top right of www.irishslalom.ie - click on the poster and away you go!!

You will see two payment methods - pay at event and also pay online using paypal. I ask that you all pay online.

As you know there is alot of administration work every saturday morning of an event to get everyone paid up and registered. This work is done by people who like you, should be concentrating on rigging up and getting on the water. If we all use the online reg and payment it will allow us to get on the water much earlier on a Saturday morning. For those of you who like to party - if we get enough racing in on Saturday - there is a chance of an extra hour in bed on Sunday!

The volunteers of the Irish Slalom Series put in alot of voluntary hours every week to make the series a success and ensure you are having a good time! Please minimise the paper work the ISS Team have to do at the events (we like racing too!) by registering and paying online...

The pay at event option will be removed eventually during the season. If you continue to pay at the event and not use the online payment option it will cost you more. For now both options are the same price. Name and shame policy may also be used at the prize giving - so beware!

The guys at Newtowards are putting alot of effort in to organising a great show. We will all be eating and partying the nite away at the sailing club - so if you are joining us on Saturday nite please include this in your registration. Also include any non competitors coming with you. Payment of dinner will be handled on Saturday by the club.

The more information you add to your profile on www.irishslalom.ie the easier it is to fill out your form. You can now add your kit to your profile. All registered equipment can be changed on the saturday morning of the event.

IWA membership is MANDATORY for all ISS events unless otherwise specified by the event organiser. Inline with the online reg and payment - we would prefer not to have sort out the IWA memberships on the Saturday morning of events. Please download the IWA membership form from www.windsurfing.ie and send it off with payment as per instructions. The insurance which comes with the membership makes it more than worthwhile, never mention the excellent calendar of events for 2010, discount at all the shops etc.. ONLY IWA members will be included in the offical ISS results.
